We created Stellar to help event organizers produce professional online events while providing a best-in-class customer experience. To do this, Stellar charges a certain cost per ticket based on the plan your organization has opted for (Essentials, Professional, and Volume). More on Stellar's plans here.
However, all event organizers have the option to defer Stellar's fees and payment processor Stripe's fees to the ticket buyer as an add-on fee at checkout. This means whatever you set as the list price for a ticket will be what you net in revenue. In other words, Stellar can cost you $0 to use.
An added bonus of this feature is that deferring fees to the ticket buyer will prevent your ticket price from inflating, saving you money on performance licensing costs from the Performing Rights Organizations (PROs).
You can also configure any other add-on fees that your organization requires such as facilities fees, convenience fees, etc.
